Program Liaison
Full-time position
Junior Achievement (JA) of Newfoundland and Labrador is a registered charity with a mission to inspire and prepare youth to succeed. JA provides youth with opportunities to learn financial literacy, prepare for the workplace, and develop entrepreneurial skills. We are seeking a results-oriented and forward-thinking individual who is passionate about youth education to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
Coordination of some JA programs
Volunteer development
Liaising with schools and the business community
Conducting presentations
Building and nurturing relationships with JA partners
Ensuring program quality and best practices
Collecting and managing program data
Other organizational duties, as needed
The position will be based at the JA office located in St. John’s, NL and may require occasional provincial travel.
Experience and Qualifications
We are looking for a degree in social sciences, business, education and/or equivalent education and experience.
Required skills include:
Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
Knowledge relating to entrepreneurship, financial literacy and workforce readiness
Strong understanding of relationship management
Ability to build, manage, and coordinate programs
Assets to the position include:
Technical skills including MS Suite and CRM (Salesforce)
Knowledge of the not-for-profit sector/registered charities
Experience working with volunteers and/or business community
Experience with education or youth-based organizations
Marketing and communication skills (Canva, Adobe Suite, social media platforms)
